How to Apply Mineral Foundation
Mineral foundation is a little bit different than other forms of foundation. A little goes a long way, so you want to make sure you apply it correctly to get the most out of your product and not waste it by applying too much at a time. You can always apply another layer if you want more coverage.
Tips for flawless application:
- Tap a small amount of minerals into the lid. Swirl your Kabuki brush in the lid, working the minerals into your brush.
- Turn your brush upside down (bristles facing upwards) and tap the end lightly on your countertop. This helps to settle the minerals into the brush. You should see very little of the minerals on the tips of the brush.
- Using a circular motion, apply the foundation, starting on the outside of your face near your cheekbone and swirling as you go. Buff around your face and then approach your forehead, cheeks, and nose. Continue until you have achieved your desired coverage.
